After-Hours & Walk-in Information
Walk-In Patients
We welcome walk-in patients during our standard opening hours at Nerang Medical Centre & Skin Clinic. No appointment is necessary — simply visit us at Shop 7/57 Station Road, Nerang QLD 4211.
Our standard hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
After-Hours Care
Outside of our regular opening hours, we’ve arranged for professional after-hours medical support through Hello Home Doctor. They offer home visits and consultations outside of standard hours, ensuring you still have access to safe medical care.
Please note: the after-hours service is not for medical emergencies — if you are experiencing a life-threatening situation or serious injury, please dial 000 immediately.
How It Works
When you access the after-hours service, a qualified doctor will attend to your health concern and provide a summary report which will be forwarded to us at Nerang Medical Centre & Skin Clinic. We will then review the details during our next open session and contact you if a follow-up appointment is recommended.
Billing Information for Walk-Ins & After-Hours
- Walk-in consultations during our standard hours are handled in line with our usual billing practices.
- After-hours visits via Hello Home Doctor may incur different fees; please check with the after-hours provider at the time of service.
At our clinic, we practice mixed billing: some services are bulk billed if you are eligible; others may require a private fee. For details, please ask at reception.
Privacy & Patient Records
Your health information is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. We securely store and manage patient records in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles and relevant legislation. Records from both walk-in and after-hours services are integrated into your file at our practice. Full details of our privacy policy are available on request.
