Men’s health is often put off – a check-up is a simple place to start. Open 7 days, with walk-ins welcome.

Who it's for

Men and people assigned male at birth at any age – whether you’re due for a general check, have a specific symptom or concern, want to talk about sexual health, or are managing an ongoing condition.

Our men's health services

Men’s health checks:
A general check-up is a good opportunity to review your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood-sugar, weight and lifestyle, and to raise anything that’s been on your mind. We’ll tailor what’s checked to your age and individual situation.

Prostate and urinary health:
We assess and help manage prostate enlargement and related urinary symptoms. We can also talk through the benefits and limitations of prostate (PSA) testing and help you decide whether testing is right for you.

Erectile dysfunction and sexual function:
Erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are common and often treatable. Our GPs discuss these concerns discreetly, look for any underlying causes, and talk through the options available to you.

Hormone-related symptoms (including low testosterone):
If you have symptoms that may relate to low testosterone, we can review your history, examine and arrange the appropriate blood tests, and discuss management options where clinically appropriate.

Sexual health and STI testing:
Confidential sexual health checks and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs, sometimes called STDs), with advice on prevention. (See [Sexual Health].)

Heart and metabolic health:
We help manage common conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, excess weight and smoking, with a focus on practical, ongoing care. (For care plans, see [Chronic Disease Management].)

What to expect

Men’s health appointments are private and confidential. If you’d like to discuss something specific – a sexual health concern, symptoms you’ve noticed, or a full check it can help to book a longer appointment so there’s enough time. You’re welcome to ask any question; nothing is too minor to raise.

Fees & Medicare

Bulk billing is available for eligible Medicare patients with participating doctors. Many men’s health consultations and tests are covered by Medicare; some services may involve an out-of-pocket cost. Billing can vary by doctor and appointment type, so please check the doctor’s profile, see [Bulk Billing & Fees], or call (07) 5620 3633 before your visit.
