Nerang Medical Centre & Skin Clinic provides general practice, skin and allied health services for individuals and families across Nerang and the Gold Coast. We’re open 7 days a week with walk-ins welcome, and bulk billing is available for eligible Medicare patients with participating doctors.

Adolescent Health

Confidential, age-appropriate care for teenagers, including general health, wellbeing and immunisations.

Mental Health

GP Mental Health Treatment Plans and ongoing support, with referral to a psychologist where appropriate.

Chronic Disease Management

GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements for conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease and arthritis.

Sexual Health

Confidential sexual health checks, STI testing and contraception advice.

Immunisation

Childhood and adult immunisations and seasonal flu vaccines.

Antenatal Care

Shared pregnancy care with your GP, coordinated with your chosen hospital or midwifery service.

IUD Services

 Insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants by experienced GPs.

Iron Infusions

Intravenous iron infusions for diagnosed iron deficiency, arranged and administered on site.

Commercial Driver's Licence Medicals

Commercial driver and other medical assessments.

Skin

Skin Checks

Full-body skin checks using a dermatoscope to examine moles, spots and lesions.

Allied & Specialist

Audiology

Hearing assessments and management with our audiologist.

Cardiology (visiting)

Heart-health assessments with a visiting consultant cardiologist.

Private Midwifery

Compassionate maternity care with a dedicated private midwife.

Important Billing Information

Bulk billing is available for eligible Medicare patients with participating doctors. Other appointments are mixed-billed, and some services, including certain skin procedures, are not covered by Medicare.

Billing arrangements may vary depending on the doctor and appointment type.

We offer general practice care – including women’s, men’s, child and adolescent health, mental and sexual health, chronic disease management, immunisations, antenatal care, IUD services and iron infusions – plus skin checks, audiology and visiting cardiology.

No referral is needed to see our GPs or to book a skin check. Some services, such as seeing a specialist, may require a GP referral, which we can arrange during a consultation.

Bulk billing is available for eligible Medicare patients with participating doctors. Other appointments are mixed-billed and some services are not covered by Medicare. Billing varies by doctor – please check the doctor’s profile or call (07) 5620 3633.

Our GPs are available Saturday and Sunday 8:00am–1:00pm for a range of general practice needs. For specific services or allied health availability, please call ahead or book online.
