Dr Bashar Patrus (Dr Pat) is a passionate GP and fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Pat received his basic medical qualifications in Iraq where he practiced before qualifying in Canada and then Australia.
Main interests are:
- Skin cancer medicine and surgery (including biopsies, excisions, skin flaps and skin grafts)
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, COPD and asthma)
- Fracture Care
- Emergency Medicine
- Mental Health
He likes to spend time with his wife, son and his small fluffy dog. He also likes to keep his brain active by playing Sudoku and Futoshiki.
